GRADUATE TRAINEE

CORPORATE AFFAIRS AND SPECIAL PROJECTS

Role Synopsis

The Graduate Trainee for the Corporate Affairs and Special Projects unit will be crucial in supporting the development and execution of strategic communication plans, communications, public relations, and stakeholder engagement. This position is ideal for individuals with a foundational understanding of marketing principles and a passion for creative communication, looking to grow their career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities & Result Area

(a) Campaign Execution: Assist in the planning, executing, and monitoring marketing campaigns across various channels, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

(b)  Content Creation: Develop engaging content for digital and traditional marketing channels, including social media, websites, newsletters, and promotional materials

(c) Social Media and Website Management: Manage and grow the company’s social media presence by creating, scheduling, and monitoring content across platforms as well as updating information on websites.

(d)   Event Coordination: Assist in organizing and promoting events such as exhibitions, product launching, workshops, conferences, and others to enhance brand visibility and engagement.

(e)  Brand Management: Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials and channels

(f)  Communication: Draft and distribute internal and external communications, including press releases, articles, newsletters, and email campaigns.

(g)  Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, especially product management and program delivery development, to ensure cohesive and effective marketing strategies.

(h)   Perform any other duties as assigned.

 

Must Haves:

a) High self-motivation, resourceful, creative, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence.

b) Outgoing personality and approachable demeanor

c) Preference is given to candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/ Public Relations, Media / Journalism / Event Management.

d) Strong proficiency in the English Language, both spoken and written.

e) Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop/ Illustrator/ Canva, CapCut, and other creative tools and platforms.

f) Demonstrated ability to think strategically, solve problems creatively, and identify new opportunities to advance an organization’s mission and brand

g) Ability to efficiently manage multiple priorities and projects and work with people at all levels of the organization
