The Malaysia Forest Fund (MFF) was established on 30 June 2021 to implement the REDD Plus Finance Framework (RFF). It is formed on the initiative of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability. MFF is governed by its Board of Trustees, whose members consist of well-known policy makers, industry players and non-governmental organisation (NGO).
We are a dynamic financial team that develops and implements solutions for forest conservation through the implementation of the National REDD Plus Strategy.

MISSION
Creation of innovative finance strategies and interventions in generating positive incentives for the protection, conservation and sustainable management of forests.
Develop transparent strategies, guidelines, procedures, standard and subsequently coordinate and operationalise the forest initiatives.
Facilitate and provide transparent and reliable communication, education, public awareness, capacity building as well as verification and reporting to all relevant stakeholders on the developed forest initiatives.
